27 Oct A Smarter Way for Sign Rebranding
Paul Montesi explains how PB Visual delivered a cost-effective and efficient sign rebranding solution for a client in Melbourne.
In 2013, PB Visual Communications installed two five metre pylon signs at the Nuplex site in Springvale, Melbourne. Recently, Nuplex was sold to Solenis Australia Pty Ltd, and the new owners contacted PB Visual for advice about sign rebranding at the site.
Solenis sought our recommendation as to the most cost effective and efficient solution. Initially, the company was keen to explore the potential for removing the two existing signs and installing one new, larger sign. The cost of this proposal was not viable, so we recommended utilising the existing signs.

We refurbished the signs by installing new gloss white aluminium composite material over the existing structure and added vinyl cut graphics and solid acrylic 20mm thick laser cut letters to the pylon signs. All production was done off-site, limiting the installation time to one and a half days, ensuring that there was minimal disruption to the site. With the rebranded pylon signs, and new signage installed in the reception area, PB Visual Communications was able to achieve a smooth rebrand process with cost savings and minimal logistical interference.
