05 Jul Contemporary 3D illuminated sign using old and new materials
This contemporary 3D illuminated sign using old and new materials stands out for all the right reasons. It has been designed to beautifully compliment our clients building with its subtle LED lighting, highlighting the use of raw and modern materials that are clearly seen night and day.
West Beach Community Church engaged PB Visual Communications to design and manufacture a sign that would complement their new church building by using a combination of raw materials and the most current cladding materials.
We sourced used 18mm thick jarrah timber from a re-cycling yard and fixed the timber direct to the galvanised steel frame we fabricated. The front panel is a white aluminium composite material that has been securely fitted to the sign frame with hidden fixings to achieve a smooth, clean sign face.
The outline of the text was routed out from the sign panel, and the 3D letters are 20mm thick solid clear acrylic, with black adhesive vinyl to the fronts, back-lit by LED lighting.
The open cross element has LED lighting behind achieving a ‘halo’ illuminated effect, ensuring the timber is subtly illuminated at night.
The stunning outcome was achieved with the close working relationship with our client, looking ‘outside the box’ to achieve a creative, unique sign that not only satisfies the visual requirements but also complimented the building and its surrounds.
You can trust PB Visual Communications to work closely with you and your brief to come up with a fantastic sign solution.
