Concept to Completion: How a council collaboration lead to community satisfaction

Council regulations can be challenging, but more engagement with community leads to better outcomes for all

Delivering signage to balance council regulations and the needs and wants of a client can be challenging for some. However, PB Visual showed that with a considered and broad-thinking approach, the benefit of great signage extends to the wider community.

Leading Mortgage broker and Licensed financial planner Robert Kent engaged PB Visual Communications to give their new offices prominence at Commercial Road Salisbury north of Adelaide.

The brief was to gain maximum exposure and impact while working within the tight council planning guidelines regulating development in the partially residential precinct.

At first, approval for the proposed sign seemed unlikely but Robert asked PB Visual’s Paul Montesi to ‘see what could be done’.

With a slight change of tact, Paul arranged meetings with council and discussed the benefits that a prominent and well-constructed sign could have for not just his client, but for the other tenants in the complex.

The sign that PB Visual proposed included a versatile and changeable LED screen that could be updated with fresh images and text at will – allowing for extra value to be added for the local community. The council understood the benefits of a sign such as this and approved the development to the excitement of the building’s owners and tenants.

This is an example of how PB Visual Communications can handle your signage requirements from concept to final installation, taking care of all aspects of the process.
